In a brief follow-up to our article about Bredon School published at the start of the month, I just wanted to give a shout out to the two young actors who played Roach and Spikely. A regular visitor to this website dropped me a line a couple of weeks ago, to point out something John Rundle and I had missed in our photos at the school. Take a look at this still from episode seven, which was filmed in Pull Court...
You can see we have circled a copper kettle on the fireplace on the left-hand side. Below is a photo we took on our recent visit last year...
It looks very much like that might be the same kettle in the same place! You can also see what looks like a ceramic pot on the other side of the fireplace in the photo above. We get a brief glimpse of that as the camera pushes through the archway and it looks like a pretty good match too.
My thanks to our regular visitor for spotting these items which have remained in situ for almost fifty years.
