Benati Art Gallery - Smiley’s People Location

It took me a little while to find this location in Smiley's People. I couldn't quite make out the name of the street behind Smiley as he entered the gallery, but a website about closed pubs in London helped me find where the 'Duke of York' used to be.
It took me a little while to find this location in Smiley's People. I couldn't quite make out the name of the street behind Smiley as he entered the gallery, but a website about closed pubs in London helped me find where the 'Duke of York' used to be.
Google Earth/Maps shows the pub is now a wine bar and the gallery is an estate agent.

ReplyDeleteThe estate agents isn't bad, but tacky compared to it's predecessor.
I'm crestfallen that Mr Benati has moved on. I was in the market for a genuine Degas ballerina sculpture.
