Pension Schärz - Smiley's People Location

Regular visitors to this site will know that over the last few years we have tracked down a great number of previously unidentified locations for these series. It's fair to say we had drawn a blank on the locations in Switzerland though and there were no additional clues revealed from the enhanced picture quality of the blu-ray release.

All of which makes us very grateful to SteelGrimpeur, who recently emailed us with an amazing piece of research. He explains:

As a resident of Switzerland, I have often gone on the Smiley trail and have to admit that Pension Schärz (Episode 6) always eluded me. Until now. Find attached my research with what I consider pretty conclusive proof of Pension Schärz's location. As it turns out, I have driven and ridden by it several times.
